Directions To Make Toffee Flavored Coffee

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. 
  2. Add confectioners’ sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. 
  3. Stir toffee bits into coffee; let stand for 30 seconds. 
  4. Strain and discard any undissolved toffee bits. 
  5. Pour coffee into 6 mugs.
  6. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with butterscotch topping.

What is the difference between caramel and toffee?

The difference between toffee and caramel is that caramel is made with white granulated sugar and cooked to 340 degrees Fahrenheit, whereas toffee is made with butter and brown sugar and cooked to 295 – 309 degrees Fahrenheit.
